ROAMING TIPS

BEFORE YOU TRAVEL:

Prepaid Customers

  1. Top up your phone so you have enough credit to purchase the roaming plan.
  2. Activate your roaming plan on My Digicel or visit our store for roaming support.

Postpaid Customers

  1. Make sure that you have enough credit limit to be able to buy the roaming plan of your choice.
  2. If you don’t have credit limit available call #100, 300-1000 or email us and ask for your credit limit to be increased to at least $100.
  3. Activate your roaming plan on My Digicel or visit our store for roaming support.

ONCE YOU ARRIVE:

  1. Check that your phone is enabled for roaming. Go to Settings/Connections/ Mobile Networks and enable Data Roaming.
  2. Make sure that you are using the correct Access Point Network (APN). Go to Settings/ Connections/ Mobile Networks and choose Access Point Names. Your APN should say internet.vg, if it does not, add it to the APN.
  3. Your phone should have the network selection in manual. If it is on automatic, please disable.  Go to Settings/Connections/Mobile Networks and choose Network Operators.  The phone will display the different operators to connect.  Try to connect to one of them until you are able to roam.
  4. If you are still unable to connect, turn off the phone and restart it.

Roaming Tips

You may still connect to a network while roaming without a plan, but you’ll be charged standard roaming rates set by each provider globally.

The most convenient way is through the My Digicel app. You can also activate by dialing *284# or by visiting any of our stores.

Postpaid and Prepaid customers - Using My Digicel app. 

No, these roaming plans will not allow auto-renewal.
